Dataset of the hyperspectral imaging (HS) of tomato leaves inoculated with Alternaria protenta is preapred and uploaded to the Dataverse.lv. The dataset consists of hyperspectral images (HS) and associated data of tomato leaves captured during a disease development study. Number of trials took place in an experimental greenhouse where tomatoes of cultivar Encore were inoculated

Tomato leaf images are manually labeled in Label Studio to create structured training data for the project. Each leaf is annotated by disease area and boundaries, ensuring consistent and accurate datasets. This step is essential for reliable analysis and future model development.

During the experiments we are taken photos of the tomato leaves. Photos are taken in consistent lighting, from the same angle, and at regular intervals to track changes in color, texture, and health. This visual record helps us monitor plant growth and spot early signs of stress or disease.
